Christine Ambrose, D.M.D.
Dr. Christine Ambrose is from Wappingers Falls, New York. She was awarded the IBM TJ Watson Memorial Scholarship and NYS Higher Education Scholarship and attended Cornell University. She graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Biological and Environmental Engineering. Christine received her doctorate in dental medicine from Boston University in 2008 and completed residency training in general dentistry in 2009.
During her time at Cornell, Christine was a member of the Symphony Orchestra, Society of Women Engineers, and Alpha Phi. She also worked at the school’s career office as an administrative assistant and was an undergraduate research assistant, where she assisted a PhD candidate researching the microbial effects on heavy metal leaching. The work led to a publication in Environmental Science & Technology Journal in 2003. Her interest in microbiology, passion to help others, and realization that she did not want a desk job led her to pursue a career in dentistry.
While in the DMD and AEGD programs at Boston University, Christine was able to hone her skills in general dentistry and developed a philosophy that would enhance her ability to work in a multi-specialty setting. In 2010, she began her clinical practice. She currently resides in Dedham, MA with her husband Joseph and three children. She enjoys tennis, playing the cello, and skiing.
